Senior Associate

Born in Benue State, Nigeria, Mr. Mathew hails from Olamaboro in the north-central Local Government Area of Kogi State, Nigeria. He holds an LL.B., degree from the Kogi State University, Anygba (2018) and a B.L., from the Nigerian Law School, Lagos (2019).

He also holds a foundational certification in Human Resources Management from the Institute of Arts Management and Professional Studies- IAMPS (2020). He is currently a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Lagos branch.

As a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, he joined Dele Ojogbede & Co., as an Associate on January 06, 2021 after having undergone his NYCS Programme in the Law Firm of Mustapha & Associates, located at the Bank of Agriculture Building, Jimeta- Yola North of Adamawa State, Nigeria where he served diligently devoting most of his time in handling civil and criminal trials.

Since joining the firm, he has continued to play a vital part in the operation of the firm, contributing to its legal work, client relations, and overall development in terms of growth and success.

Mr. Mathew has now primarily focused his practice in broad range of civil litigation such as contract, labour and employment, complex commercial business litigation, intellectual property disputes, fundamental human right claims, torts, declaration of title to land, recovery of possession and litigation incident to commercial real estate transactions and real estate practice.

He currently serves as outside litigation counsel to professional service firms.
